The sky was so clear that day is a response to the many drives I have taken in the Mackay region since arriving almost 2 years ago. I enjoy both the results and the process of printmaking. The ink layers on the block are equally beautiful to me as the final imperfect hand pressed product on paper, hence the inclusion of the woodblocks as part of this artwork.
