TERANIA (note the all-caps as intended by the artist) is a cloth-bound hardcover book containing hand-painted and stamped works on its pages. Inspired by the artist’s northerly view from her studio over a valley, TERANIA is described by the artist as a demonstration of “an artist’s book [that] can encapsulate space…and describe the passage of time.” Each page communicates the diverse fauna, flora and atmospheric conditions experienced throughout a day in the valley.
